John McGrath's New KIA Showroom

The John McGrath Auto Group would like to welcome Kia to our Woden and Queanbeyan dealerships. Our brand new Kia showroom and service department is now open and a welcome addition to our Phillip location.

John commenced employment with the family business in 1977 with one Dealership in NSW; by 2006 it had expanded to 20 dealerships with over 900 employees. John moved to Canberra in August 2000 and for the past 11 years has run McGrath Canberra Pty Ltd trading as John McGrath Ford. The business had continued to grow with many new acquisitions along with Ford the McGrath Auto Group now includes Kia, Mitsubishi, Chery, Ssangyong, Isuzu and Mercedes-Benz, with locations right across Canberra and Goulburn.

John has formally held the position of ACT delegate for the MTA and is involved with the ACT Student to Industry Programme having held the position of Director. He continues to be involved with business and industry associations through his membership with MTANSW, MTAACT and the ACT Chamber of Commerce.

The company maintains a strong presence in the Canberra community through sponsorship of the following organisations:
