The plan can focus on a specific issue, such as wastewater treatment or waste reduction, or cover your entire business including administration areas, sales and workshops.

• Decide if a plan could benefit your business and make it easier to implement and maintain sound environmental practices.

• Consider how you will: complement OH&S and other policies and plans; review your progress; communicate your policy, plan and achievements; and actively seek feedback and ideas.
   
• Involve staff, suppliers, neighbouring properties and other stakeholders in the process.
